The DC configuration utilizes an angled faceplate for the front end, and a vertical faceplate in the rear. The angled faceplate acts as a wind foil and reduces drag as well as wind noise when traveling. It also channels air over and around any low profile cargo like ladders and folding tents. The ‘C’ faceplate attaches vertically and closes off the rear of the system, turning the rack into a basket with a wind buffeting front, and closed off rear. Please note that the ‘D’ piece can also be installed upside down to create a basket style front end for the system.
